POSITION - Sr. Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
1. Pre-measure trades and sections at contract start up.
2. Work with the clients, PQS and team liaison to agree final measures and variation costing.
3. Variation identifications, notifications, measure & value new rates.
4. Contracts administration and managing scope of works.
5. Managing sub-contract works, generating subcontract documents, documentation for payments & contra-charges.
6. Generates correspondences to both Sub-contractors and Client.
7. BOQ splitting of trades & quantities for procurement.
8. Procurement of both subcontractors and materials.
9. Submission of monthly Interim Payment Application.
10. Monthly project cost reporting.
PROJECT - Abu Dhabi International Airport MTB (ADAC)
POSITION - Sr. Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
1. Work with the clients, PQS and team liaison to agree final measures and variation costing.
2. Variation identifications, notifications, measure and value new rates.
3. Contracts administration and managing scope of works.
4. Managing sub-contract works, generating subcontract documents, documentation for payments & contra-charges and final accounts.
5. Generates correspondences to Sub-contractors.
6. Monthly project cost reporting.
7. Priced and agreed a total of AED 143, 000, 000.00 variation work on top of the AED 491, 000, 000.00 original Contract Value.
PROJECT - Adnoc Corporate Headquarters (ADNOC)
POSITION - Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
1. Pre-measure trades and sections at contract start up.
2. Work with the clients, PQS and team liaison to agree monthly measures, final measures and variation costing.
3. Variation notifications, measure and value new rates and pricing of variations.
4. Managing Subcontractors, generating subcontract documentation, documentation for payments & contra-charges and final accounts.
5. Monitor and report costs from allowables and budget.
6. Quantifying and procurement of both local and imported materials.
7. Generate cutting list of ceiling materials fabricated abroad.
8. Communicate with the Operations Team on a regular basis, monitoring materials ordered/quantified against materials used.
9. Petty cash.
10. Managing suppliers with Letter of Credit payment terms both local and imported.
11. Contracts administration.
PROJECT - Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (Mubadala Development Co)
POSITION - Quantity Surveyor
Job Description:
1. Controlling certain financial and/or contractual matters of the project under the supervision of Commercial Manager.
2. Worked with Client’s QS’s to agree monthly measures, final measures and variation costs.
3. Monitor incoming instructions and notifying the Client for the time and cost implications.
4. Re-measure works and value new rates and variations.
5. Regular site inspection, reviewing progress & possible variations.
6. Communicate with the Operations Team on a regular basis, monitoring the work program against work on site.
7. Preparing monthly progress claim.
8. Generate Sub-contractor’s monthly payment certificate, contra charges and final accounts.
9. Monitoring actual cost if within allowable zone and reporting any anomalies/discrepancies.
10. Material quantity take-off & procurement both local and imported.
