Attachment training program and my duties included:
1. Inward/Outward tallying and allocation of teas at the go-down
2. Data entry into the harvest system (an automated ERP software consisting of data bases and spreadsheets which accounts for stock movement in and out of the warehouse)
3. Sorting of samples and processing of printing programs distributed from headquarter
4. Processing reprinted programs upon request by brokers in need of repeated samples that failed to get auctioned
5. Analysis of Shipment Instructions (SI) from clients and amending of tea blend sheets
6. Preparing loading plans, shipment reports and sanctioning of tea consignments released from the warehouse
7. Launching of entries, booking of shipping lines, assessing pre-advise statements, filing of shipping documents and attaining release orders from Customs post
8. Accessing clearance from the port using Container Shipment Witness Forms (CSWF) and seeking inquiries also collecting cheque transfers from clients
