• SNC Lavalin is a world-leading engineering and project management company which has been delivering end-to-end project solutions to pioneering new technologies in diverse sectors ranging from oil and gas, to mining and metallurgy, to building power plants and Industrial infrastructure.
• Currently working at the ‘Qatar Petroleum District’ project under the scope of providing Interim Facility Management from pre-handover of the Base Build areas of the towers and public areas, through to the Fit-out Construction Stage and a few months after the handover by Fit-Out Contractor.
• The project consists of 10 high rise towers ranging from 17 to 47 floors, a 500 seat auditorium, a fully operational medical center, a district cooling plant, a highly secure Datacenter and IT hub, exhibition areas, Banks, Media Centers, Support Facilities, and Cafeterias along with 3 levels of basement parking.
• On the behalf of QP, took over completed buildings from the Base-build contractor while witnessing testing & commissioning activities and attended all trainings provided by the contractor. Subsequently facilitated handover of the Fit out areas from Base-Build Contractor to Fit-out contractors.
• Developed and built upon the Asset Register received from the Base Build contractor recording all significant details of the assets in the QP prescribed formats. Validated the contents of asset registers during the Condition Survey and reported the discrepancies found.
• Reviewed all available operating and maintenance manuals and drawings and developed risk assessments and safe work method statements for all tasks to be undertaken during the maintenance contract.
• Established the levels of maintenance required and developed preventive maintenance schedules as per O&M manuals and best practices. Produced a PPM strategy and annual works plan in line with service level agreements of the contract.

• The National Museum of Qatar is an iconic landmark, designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Jean Nouvel, and spans over 40, 000 square meters incorporating Galleries, Restoration Laboratories, Library & Research centers, Auditorium, restaurants, administrative offices, parks, playgrounds and an artificial lagoon with water features.

• Involved in the project right from the mobilization stage and assisted in formulating the operational service delivery plans, aligning it to the client requirements, effectively building good stakeholder relationships.

• Provided technical inputs in the development of PPM and Reactive maintenance strategies to ensure the facility is maintained and operated to optimum efficiency.

• Controlled the hand-over & take-over process from the construction contractor to the Qatar Museum Authority and thereby building the Asset Capitalization Report, the database to be used for the CAFM system.

• Developed building acceptance procedures in alignment with completion and produced conditional surveys reports to record defects. Coordinated with the construction contractor to rectify the same in a timely manner.

• Reviewed the contracts for sub-contractors of outsourced works and ensured that their performance achieved the agreed SLAs and KPIs.

• Implemented company HSE policies promoting a positive quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) compliance driven culture. Assisted in developing processes for application Permit-to-work, LOTO, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

• Currently involved with the development of Air cargo terminals at the new Muscat and Salalah International airports, which have an annual cargo handling capacity of 260, 000 tonnes and 100, 000 tonnes respectively.

• The scope of work includes the installation and commissioning of the cargo handling system including Elevating Transfer Vehicles (ETV), Lower-able work stations, truck docks, tilting decks, FMC conveyors, castor decks, truck scales, pallet racks and integrated cool rooms for perishable goods.

• Acted as the primary interface with customer and key stakeholders and lead administrative, contractual, technical and financial aspects of the projects.

• Planned and directed the projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and coordinating the integration of technical activities, while always reconciling it with the project master schedule.

• Lead a multi-disciplined team and sub-contractors; managing conflicts, establishing priorities, coordinating and sequencing many concurrent activities, while providing the project team with leadership.

• Headquartered in the German town of Warburg, Lödige Industries, the world market leader in cargo handling solutions, supplies materials handling equipment for a broad range of industries and specializes in providing complex material flow systems for logistics tasks.
• Currently working at Hamad International Airport’s (HIA) Cargo Terminal that has fully automated cargo storage and retrieval systems, with a capacity for processing 1.4 million tons of cargo per year.
• Major responsibilities involve trouble shooting technical faults and performing corrective maintenance on the material handling system consisting of hoists, stacker cranes, warehouse transfer vehicles, elevating workstations, shuttle TVs, horizontal transportation systems, turn-tables, tilting decks etc.
• Perform preventive maintenance including calibrating equipment, replacing worn parts, carrying out emergency repairs and supporting operational contingency plans as required.
• Monitor system performance and evaluate the system condition of the Terminal’s automated material handling system and associated equipment and produce reports on the overall performance.

• Posted as Electrical Engineer at their project site at Cochin Special Economic Zone (CSEZ), Kakkanad, in charge of the operation & maintenance of the Power Distribution System that includes 110/11kV, 2_X 12.5 MVA Substation, Ring main distribution system, dedicated feeders and the state of the art ‘Wireless Prepaid Energy Monitoring System’ (First of its kind, to be implemented in India).
• Also part of the Project is the Integrated Water Management System that comprises of a Water Treatment Plant and an Industrial waste water treatment facility.
• The project also consists of Commercial buildings that are leased out by CSEZ, and whose overall Facility Management including soft services and electro-mechanical maintenance, common area lighting, CCTV, UPS, HVAC, BMS, Fire Fighting etc. comes under our scope of work.
