- Process control and quality management engineer, Food technologist.
- Review and update the products process specification and recipes with R&D, production, and planning department of (bakery products - biscuits products - cake and chocolate - snacks ....).
- Ensure that all the received Flavors & Seasonings are comply with Kelloggs standards.
- Evaluate & give insights regarding all the innovation projects of all plant products to continues improvement the product satisfaction.
- Supporting in Creating a raw material specification, packaging material specifications, final product specifications, labeling and nutrition value information PLS (Product Label Specification), Bill of Materials(BOMs) and convert them to SAP form.
- Develop the products’ shelf-life studies with R&D team based on scientific reference and lab reports.
- Analyze quality performance utilizing using statistical and analytical tools and CTQ&CTP methods, Supervise quality parameters and SPC analysis in the production process and take necessary actions to keep Them under Control and Ensure Quality plans implementation with instructed measurements, Share daily quality reports with related departments.
- Develop the product evaluation system with scientific approach and training the sensory panelists.
- Monitor and assess the performance of the quality systems, reports its effectiveness to management and implement actions for improvement. (Document control management).
- Development and ensure that implementation of food safety and monitoring programs meet both Kellogg requirements and regulatory standards. Oversees and monitors food safety & quality program implementation (HACCP, GMP, CCP, PRP, Traceability, Food Defense and Food Fraud.
- Lead technicians (quality, production, maintenance, EHS Team) in the daily Kellogg meeting DDS to discuss all the production notes can effect on the product quality, and making the program evaluation system to ensure that products compliance with Kellogg IDRM of the product standards. - Following Non-Conformity management and verify action plan effectiveness through follow-up of customer complaints about all the product categories and ensure implementation of CAPA is communicated back to market
- Lead lines sanitation and deep cleaning duties based on global Kelloggs master sanitation plan and when needed and ensures hygienic condition of production lines before start-up and during production to ensure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing, and sampling and sanitation activities, and verify from all (ATP- Salmonella - Listeria - …) swaps.
- Ensure plant compliance with Kellogg company global standard, AIB global standard, FSSC, ISO22000, ISO9001 and ISO45000 Standard, good hygiene practices, good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and HACCP plan and Kellogg requirements.
- Line Audit verification according to Kellogg Global standard, Line Validation and EMP Environmental monitoring program.
- Responsible for training (GMP- G6 - 7core Kelloggs programs) of Quality, production, warehouses, and maintenance teams. and supporting in that aims to raise the awareness and capability of members about quality and food safety programs with 100% engagement to reach the annual target of companys KPIs.
- Achieved with quality team a score of 94.4% in Global Kelloggs QFS Audit, the current highest score in Egypt
- Further processing and slaughterhouse specialist ( preparation, processing and packaging area )of poultry and meat products.
- Responsible for All Raw and packaging materials( receiving and inspection tests).
- Participation in projects to develop packaging materials and improve processes (Saving packaging costs by 16.7%).
- Improve the staffs knowledge of food safety culture and behavior according to BRC global standard requirements (high - low) risk zones to rise the food safety culture and reduce any of food safety incidents.
- Support with R&D and planning supply chain departments to implemented the Rack system pallets in the company warehouses.
- Develop inspection procedures and evaluation (sampling plans, In Process Control IPC Plans, Standard operation Procedures, Lab reports...) ensure that it covers all aspects of the process and product areas. - Review and develop materials well products specs and technical documentation as needed internally and externally with all stakeholders. - Participation in the specifications projects and BOMs of raw materials and final products of Cairo 3A during (outsource) the external processing at our plant Al-watania poultry.
- Support in the process and products recipes research and development to improve existing brand and marketing offering and customer satisfaction.
- Member in the corporate internal audit and food safety team, responsible for implemented of quality programs(Food Defense - Food Fraud - Traceability system) of Al-watania poultry group, and Participation during the auditing visits of (NFSA - ISO9001 & ISO22000 - FSSC22000 - BRC - HALAL requirements …).
- Assistant in reviewing, developed and executed SOPs and composed manuals that supported to ensure all documents are up to standards and comply with regulations.
