Directs and supervises the activities of assigned personnel.
Ensures that hospital equipment and machinery are maintained in proper working
condition; co-ordinates an effective preventive maintenance programme for all medical
equipment and machinery; inspects equipment and machinery on a periodic basis to identify potential repairs and ensures that required repair is carried out effectively.
Maintains up-to-date records on equipment inventory, location and status of equipment,
ensures that inventory levels maintained conform to hospital guidelines which will include utilization schedules, maintenance cost, idle time and steps taken to minimize
costs and optimize utilization; recommends on replacement of the medical equipment
and machinery as required.
Attends to technical enquiries from various departments, investigates discrepancies on
materials/spare-parts and equipment specifications and processes, and recommends solution.
Supervises the installation, commissioning and maintenance of all medical equipment.
Follows-up with Materials Management to ensure that operational target dates for the
delivery of medical equipment and machinery are adhered to and that undue delays are
avoided; ensures safe delivery of the equipment to end user.
Ensures compliance with all legal regulations and requirements regarding the maintenance and use of equipment, including obtaining the requisite permits from M.O.H. and follows-up on renewal of such permits on time.
Recommends the procurement of spare-parts and accessories for Company equipment as required, ensures that equipment / material received is placed in the inventory and properly stored to eliminate the risk of damage.
Performs other related duties as necessary, such as: meeting with the suppliers’
representatives to discuss technical problems, implementing development training to subordinates,
Participate & Facilitate the Quality improvement projects and accreditation programs
Handling with sales team all appointments with Doctors, Biomedical Engineers and other healthcare medical teams in relation to the following Medical Equipment & Systems :
- Medical Gas systems : working closely to ensure optimum Design, Installation and smooth operation of hospital medical gas systems during hospital design phase up to full operation and regular maintenance with trusted MG suppliers like Atlas Copco, Beacon Medaes, 3pe, schonnMeditiznek companies . - Pneumatic transfer system & pharmacy automation : ensure optimum Design, Installation and smooth operation of PTS network and route assigning, as well pharmacy automation system and equipment from our trusted Partner Swiss-log AG . - Nurse Call system : ensure optimum Design, Installation and smooth operation of nurse call system with State of the art Indigo care intelligent system . - Hospital furniture / OT & ICU furniture & Lighting : ensure optimum Design, Installation and smooth operation of above items with our trusted partner Amico Canada .
Providing team & clients with technical knowledge expertise, Organizing and conducting both primary customer meeting and equipment presentation / demonstrations, discussing design, layout approvals up to execution and delivery with optimum and professional process, also after sales customer training and follow up visits .
Processing customer inquiries via email, phone, etc. and directing them through proper channels, ensuring delivering adequate service.
Building excellent inter-personal relationship with key-decision makers and doctors, opening new channels and expanding the company customer database .
- Responsible For local & international Procuring of Medical Items / Equipment & Clinic consumables, Able to Deliver the Right Choice at the Right Time as per the End User Requirements, Providing Technical & Financial assessment of Various Products / Equipment, Aiding & Consulting the End-User with the Most suitable Options .
- Preparing Local & International PO's for various items, making sure to be delivered On time as per specifications Mentioned .
- Maintaining Safety Stock with all Consumption Charts and Reports Needed to exactly Specify the average Consumption and Keep the Supply chain intact .
- Implementing & Maintaining of ERP System, providing Workflow charts to be followed & Maintaining System Integrity .
Responsible for selling & following the equipment & furniture related to the Beauty Industry and the Dermatology Clinics All Over, Kuwait, established Excellent relations With the dermatologists in the private hospitals and Beauty Clinics, the products included wide assortment of Ionto Comed - Germany, Gharieni - Italy, Vismara - Germany & Silverfox - China
Responsible for selling & following the products of AMICO company in the national & private market, it is a company based in Canada that is producing complete hospital solutions including 7 production lines for piping, patient room headwalls, ICU headwalls, patient room furniture, beds, accessories and lighting products, also responsible for selling and following of ALLEN medical devices & accessories, it’s a company based in USA which produces various solutions for spine surgery including spine surgery systems, advanced spine tables, beach chair attachment, along with a long list of accessories & other products
Worked on fitting and troubleshooting of various Siemens® and Rexton® Hearing Aids, my work involved the receiving if the patient from the door of the site and dealing with him in both mental and professional way as product specialist to define his problem correctly and choosing from many alternatives of hearing aids to find the very specific and most compatible one for each case, then fitting stage begins to adjust the hearing aid using computer software to reach the maximum usability and fine tuning getting most comfortable and efficient result that would gain full satisfaction from the customer
