Responsibilities:
• Worked on Cisco Customer issues and helped to debug and solve the issues.
• Feature testing of images from various releases on the c10000 series of Cisco routers. Technologies tested included Routing Protocols and WAN Technologies.
• Reporting bugs using an internal bug-tracking tool.
• Manual testing on all the technologies mentioned above to uncover potential issues not found with the scripts.
• Integrating scripts to increase test coverage of features
• Enhance existing scripts by adding test cases/scenarios to plug holes in testing.
• Analyzing and enhancing test coverage on existing Test beds by looking at the test coverage and submitting scripts for integration.
• Scrubbing the bugs found before any particular release.
• Working with the development team towards prioritizing and resolving defects found during testing.
• Analyzing customer found defects on the platform for various components/releases, reproducing the defects in the local lab, and plugging the holes in testing whenever necessary.
• Carrying out manual testing on all supported features.
• Designing and building new test beds reflecting customer scenarios and configurations.
• Create Lab set-up for troubleshooting issues and create emulations and traffics using devices like IXIA, Agilent etc.
Security & System Hardening + Security Audits,
Installing Operating System & Software Patches/Updates, Trouble shoot all basic server problems, Server Monitoring, , Firewalls install and Security Scans.
