Senior Estimation Engineer for Mechanical and Industrial specificaly in Turaround/Shutdown/project
Review & check tender documents receive from client.
Prepare tender review and tender queries and clarification.
Interpret & review project documents - tender drawings and specification.
Prepare material quantities take off as per AFC drawing and identify any variation.
Perform estimation of labor cost & materials cost, and equipment cost and calculating overhead cost and profit.
Prepare technical & commercial proposal and submit to estimation manager for review and approval with attached BID documents as per ITB.
Coordinate with project management team for internal kick off meeting regarding the inclusion and exclusion of the scope.
Identify any changes on tender drawings and AFC drawings.
Evaluate quotation obtained from different suppliers and subcontractors, ensure the quantities and specifications are in line with tender and project specifications.
Prepare and ensure material quantity take offs prior to purchase requisitions for the project and report to project management if any irregularities.
Work very close with project team to ensure measurements, variation and contractual are properly recorded and notify.
Helping and motivate subordinate to develop skills toward estimation ideas and share technical capabilities in terms of estimation cost preparation, develop new estimation sheets, can work under pressure in times of urgency for BID submission.
Review project documents such as scope of works, method statement, AFC drawings, and specifications, ensure the documents is completed prior to start construction.
Allocate job as per plan/priority wise and delegate to subordinate.
Review and ensure bill of materials are in line with project specifications prior to the requisition of purchase order.
Prepare project status report by collecting and summarizing all the required data on the supervisor thru weekly meeting and progress report accumulated.
Maintains project schedule by close monitoring of work progress from preparation or development until commissioning phase.
Ensure the project are in line with general planning schedule, any related issues and irregularities that can affect the project stability on site will immediately notify the project management team to resolve the issue.
Participate in resolving project problem and share ideas with PMT.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Ensure the safety measure and procedure of the projects thru proper coordination with other trade of work on site.
Review project documents such as scope of works, drawings, specifications.
Ensure the project specification will be follow as per project standard
Prepare take off of materials, resources & equipment.
Ensure project execution is in line with the project planning
Co-ordination with client and subcontractor regarding technical aspects.
Prepare execution plan, look ahead plan & activity plan of project.
Daily monitoring and collecting report of project progress and to ensure the requirement of project is provided
Ensure satisfactory result of the project
Ensure safe man-hours and client satisfaction of the projects.
