- Control and inspection in IA site -In Amenas Gas Project- to ensure that the
work being carried out in the LIVE Area is in accordance with the Operations
Permit to Work process.
- Conduct gas testing for Confined Space Entry and sign the relevant permit and
associated certificates as Authorized Gas signatory.
- Conduct HSE Audits and Inspection as required by site HSE Plan.
- Carry out safety observations, Isolation auditing, PTW auditing
- Attend and participate in risk assessment meetings with different
departments (Wells, Exploitation, and Mechanical).
- Participate in incident and accident investigation.
- Manage Systems Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) on the implementation
and monitoring plan.
- Promote and lead proactive behavior for each member of Operations staff in
the field.
- Ensure dissemination of HSE and emergency procedures.
- Enforcing the system work permit and participate in the supervision and
monitoring of HSE work.
- Assist and verify the correct implementation of Permit to Work System.
- Provide HSE induction regarding CPF procedure to new joiners.
- Participate in organizing and monitoring exercises and simulated emergency
situations.
- Participating with the response team during procedures as First Assist or
auxiliary Fire Fighter.
- Perform testing, safety harnesses and other safety devices including security
equipment’s (Scaffoldings: fixed and mobile).
- Monthly harness& Gas detectors inspection.
- Establish HSE Reports/Statistics, monthly reports and annual reports.
- Managing SIMOPS in the plant.
- HSE field supervising.
- Inspection of equipment and workplaces.
- Fully familiar with OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 requirements and
Implementations.

- Ensure site’s HSE polices, goals and targets are effectively implemented across
all the construction activities.
- Observe andmonitor the implementation of site HSE standards.
- Conduct HSE Audits and Inspection as required by site HSE Plan.
- Verify and check that the required HSE inductions and HSE trainings and
awareness programs have been completed for the workforce (employees and
Contractors).
- Collate HSE inputs, (SOC’s, meetings, toolbox talks etc), and assist with
identifying hazard trends and training requirements.
- Maintain HSE input spreadsheet as required.
- Develop and deliverWeekly HSE presentations for Operation & Construction
team.
- Monitor effective implementation of remedial action plans.
- Develop/Assist in the preparation & review of Risk Assessments andWork
Method Statements.
- Assist and verify the correct implementation of Permit toWork System.
- Establish a gas testing Level (1&2) andmaintain MSA Orion/Orion plus &MSA
ALTAIR 4.
- Assist in Incident/Near Miss Investigations.
- Compile and submit HSE reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis as required
by site HSE Plan.
- Maintain up to date and accurate HSE Administrative information.
- Ensure detailed handover notes are prepared for Back to Back Rota Partner
at the end of the rotation.
- Fully familiar with OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 requirements and
Implementations.
