General Manager: Rainbow International, Brackley, Northamptonshire.
BDMA Technically trained in the field with experience in administration, claims management, logistics, operations and the general running of the business including finances, forecast, work in progress and business requirements overall. Responsible for handling complaints, training, health and safety, high net worth claims, commercial claims, major and complex loss.
Role and Responsibilities: - Manager to 8 administrators including an administration manager. 12 field based Technicians including senior technician and operations manager. 4 Warehouse operatives including warehouse manager. Reporting to MD.
- Training, supporting and development.
- Human Resources, Health and Safety and CDM.
- Complaint handling and resolution.
- Project management of commercial, high networth, major and complex loss claims after fire, flood, impact and accidental damage.
- Regular communication and site audits with contractors, loss adjusters, surveyors, policy holders and third parties.
- Self Generating additional work and contracts onsite. Conducting quotations and sales leads.
- Managing costs and finances on projects to ensure maximum profit achieved. Focus on time, labour and materials.
- Compiling reports for managing director including performance, profit and loss, work in progress and feedback from each department.
- Creating client relationships and ensuring satisfactory results overall.
- SLA's and KPI's understanding and management overall.
- Presentations and Updates to staff members and customers.
- Recruitment and Employee management including disciplinary matters.
- Involvement with technical cases, fraud and investigation.
- Research and development to ensure maximum business efficiencies.
- Motivating and ensuring staff members working to the maximum potential.
During my 11 years at Rainbow international I assisted with the software development of the onsite application and training to technicians nationwide.
I self generated and set up major contracts including the South Central Ambulance service which included procurement and tender requirements.
Involvement and completion of major disasters including the floods of 2007 and technical loss in the past 5 years during freezing temperatures and burst pipes. I was also the project manager on a large commercial loss after fire damage resulting in a total restoration cost of £500, 000.00.
