• For the last 10 months I have been using my broad telecoms experience to set up a desk at Talent2 recruiting for the telecom sector in Hong Kong. As a result I ahve interviewed over 200 people in the industry and consider myself well infomred oonce again about the telecom sector.

• A Hong Kong based company converting China’s used rice sacks into reusable shopping bags and other accessories and selling them around the world.
• This has been a goal of mine to set up and run a business that is doing something good for the environment.

• Pacsafe is a travel security company, dedicated to producing products that stop pick pockets and thieves. The main markets are the outdoor industry across all major markets around the world.
• I joined Pacsafe because I developed a product for the motorcycle industry and approached them with the concept. This is now on the market as StuffSafe 80:

• Senior Manager responsible for the Sales and Marketing of Outpac Designs anti-theft travel products across the whole of Europe. I report directly to the owners of the business.

• Mobile Music Marketing Manager Orange UK - Writing and delivering the Marketing strategy for mobile music download in the UK.
• Orange World - Working on the development of the Orange Mobile media platform.
• Head of Mobile Music - Orange Netherlands - Writing and delivering the Music Download marketing plan for Orange Netherlands. I also negotiated a prepay music partnership deal with Sony BMG.

Head of Brand and Communications - Orange Denmark Dec 2002 - Sep 2003

IMy responsibilities included managing a team of 7 direct reports to deliver all communications including TV, internet, media scheduling, retail POS, literature, trade incentives and road shows.
As part of the management team, I was also involved in the development of a new Pre Pay product and responsible for communicating its launch.

Launch Consultant - Orange NL May 2002 - Dec 2002

I worked in the Netherlands launching the Orange brand. Areas of focus included:

• Positioning Orange within the Dutch market.
• The development of a direct channel to market to test the results of a DM acquisition strategy.
• Consult on the internal culture and development programme.
• Idea generation, including the development of an Orange Bicycle designed for the Dutch market. The bicycle included a dynamo to charge the customers lights and their mobile phone.


Communications Manager - Orange Thailan Oct 2001 - Mar 2002

In Orange Thailand I was responsible for communication development. This included all literature, POS, photography, DM and Web activity, customer service training, retail and brand guidelines. A team of 6 reported to me.
