The project, I am working is an offshore platform named ACE, Azerbaijan Central Eastern field. The Client is BP. I am working on the construction site as Senior Structural Engineer. As structural engineer I have the duty of making calculations with API R2A and DNV-GL. using AISC ASD, writing the Calculation reports, checking and issuing the drawings needed, inspecting and witnessing the lifts and other site activities.
I am working on 350 MWe Imported Coal Fired Thermal Power Plant with Supercritical Boiler as Coordinator in charge of the civil construction. I am responsible not only from the plant area
and also wide area which includes the construction of structures on pipeline between the port and plant with the intake structure in the shore.
On the all process stages starting from the plant's inception to completion, commissioning and operation;
- Preparation, signing and monitoring contracts of all Civil Contractors,
-Attend site meetings to provide managers with comprehensive job status reports and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise
-Controlling, monitoring, tracking, managing and preparation of civil work’s schedule and budget
-Preparation of drawings and applying site,
-Made all site controls,
-Preparation and controlling all the reinforced driven pile drawings and soil strengthening activities and implementation of the drawing at site,
-Making all foundation excavations and all other excavation works,
-Controlling Foundation and superstructure, to be ensure that built using appropriate methods
-Design of all finishing works, the solution for the architectural details,
-Including coordination of electromechanical works and process on the office structures such as administration building,
-Controlling and follow the progress payments of contractors, monitoring all relationship with accounting department, making the final account controls,
-Control of road and infrastructure projects including implementation, and maintenance,
-Monitoring and coordination of processes related with the construction permits and government acceptance,
-After acceptance and owners handover construction all uncompleted and / or improvements & development items, management and tracking civil investments,
The Project consists one 160MW fluidized bed and 2x615MW Conventional (Super critical) for a total capacity of 1390MW of three units.
Thus these units work with imported coal the Port established for the shipment of coal, which is the largest at bulk cargo capacity in the Black Sea area is also included in the project. With the 540 acres of land the project is Turkey's 6th largest Industrial facility. The scope of this project also includes 4x3200 diameter pipeline from the plant area to sea water intake pump
house which is 3, 5 km long, there are also the 4x2200 diameter cooling water pipes in the sea. As I was worked, I was responsible for all technical related topics on the construction of the harbor and all the units I mentioned above.
-Collection of all the necessary information, required for the construction of related buildings
-Designing with this information and making the necessary changes emerged during application in the field,
-To decide how and when to do the application was among my tasks.
-On behalf of the safe execution of the project I also designed many structures by myself.
-Certain days of the week-I was going to the construction area, Zonguldak, to collect feedback from the site.
-I've worked for the completion of the construction in the shortest possible time, to get the best quality and with a good price.

-To control the work done on the site,
-If the building is an addition to the existing project, I was worked as site-technical office supervisor,
