•Co-ordinates and executes administrative tasks related to recruitment, in line with departmental guidelines.
Advertisement placement
•Creating and Placing of internal and/ or external advertisement
keeps in touch with employment agencies on job content of vacancies and recruitment and selection procedures.
Correspondence
•Prepares correspondence to applicants and candidates.
Selection procedure
•Co-ordinates the selection procedure, in line with the chosen selection approaches and in consultation with the responsible recruiter.
• Administrate recruitment data and to regularly report to line management in order to increase the efficiency and quality of the recruitment operations.
•Record correspondence with internal and external candidates. Write letters to internal and external candidates.
•Organize & co-ordinate training initiatives
•Co-ordinate training events and finalise nominees with managers, HR officers and secretaries. Issue training packs for all employees going on training
•Ensure training evaluations have been received directly after training activity and compile and issue feedback report for “on-the-day” evaluation
•Follow-up on outstanding post training evaluation forms
•Compile post evaluation summary and forward to relevant HR on a monthly and quarterly basis

•General
Assist with co-ordination and administration involved in organizing awards ceremonies eg: Long Service Awards,
•Co-ordinate cheques with the Payroll Officer

•Managing health and safety projects with external specialists.
•Self-assessment and auditing tools.
•Investigation of major incidents and, if appropriate, make recommendations regarding safe practice
