Overall incharge in the operation of the Restaurant
Planning, directing and delivering training and development programmes including staff inductions, to accomplish the organisation’s goal.
2. Supervise technical training for the staff.
3. To ensure the delivery of budgeted sales and cost targets, and sustained growth.
4. To optimize stock availability and control wastage.
5. To manage, motivate and develop staff to ensure they do their job to the best of their ability.
6. To recruit, motivate and develop an effective customer service and catering team. 7. Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations. Investigates and resolves customer incidents, documenting if necessary. 8. Promotes and practices safe work habits, reporting potential safety hazards, operational inconsistencies and team member incidents to the store manager. Reports/documents team member accidents, conducts initial investigation and determinations of root cause in the interest of maintaining a safe work environment. 9. Establishes effective and positive communication amongst all team members. 10. Maintaining proper coverage and team member schedules ensuring that the store maintains customer service standards and team members adhere to meal and break policy. 11. Ensures all cash handling procedures are upheld. Is accountable for store funds while running a shift. 12. Will provide guidance and actively set an example for team members, ensuring that all Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and followed. 13. Follows and directs team members to follow store policies, procedures and adhere to merchandising and cleanliness standards. 14. Maintaining proper coverage and team member schedules ensuring that the store maintains customer service standards and team members adhere to meal and break policy.
