Oversees the operation, fabrication and production of a non-ferrous foundry shop, covering but not limited to the following disciplines:
• Electrical Clamps & Connectors - The local manufacturing of traditionally imported substation and pole-line connectors & live parts required by transformer manufacturers and the leading power distribution franchise in the Philippines (MERALCO).
• Traffic - Development and mass production of raised reflective pavement markers.
• Automotive - Mass production of side step board and nudge guard brackets for trucks and pick-up.
• Recycling - A major recycler for Reynolds Philippines, Inc. and converted the materials into secondary ingots for their billet production line; likewise supplied secondary aluminum & brass ingots to various local die-casting outfits.
• Artworks & Accents - Development and mass production of world-class hand-finished cast aluminum / brass products for foreign buyers and interior designers (e.g. vases, candleholders, planters, trays, chairs and tables, etc.).
Responsible in providing dependencies and performance reports to the General Manager.
Managing the distribution of resources, scheduling and manpower on a project.
Facilitates the purchasing consumables and non-ferrous scrap metal for production (Material quality, Identification and segregation).
Coordinates with the local government in ensuring the foundry’s compliance with all plant HSE guidelines and fire prevention requirements.
Attends to all equipment breakdowns and planned maintenance work.
Maintains the workshop, hot work equipment and consumables inventory in check.
Responsible in all finished product delivery, collection and quality inspection.
