Serve drinks to customer in a friendly and helpful manner and with a smile bearing reference to service policies and procedures.
Communicate with colleagues/guests with regards to beverage orders.
Has full knowledge of the menu offerings to the guests and up sells where possible.
Be responsive and helpful with regard to off menu items such as classic cocktails and expand personal knowledge in this area as much as possible.
Wash glassware and utensils as required and ensure items are correctly organized at all times.
Ensure all products are served according to company standards.
Ensure the bar areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner at all times with regards to standards and hygiene.
Keep track of wines, beers, liquors, and other supplies.

Maintaining the product quality, by checking beer pipes, cordials, juices etc.
Answer the telephone in polite and correct manner within 3 rings.
Follow the correct bar operating procedures with regards to:
o Stock rotation (FIFO)
o Requisitions (according to business needs)
Perform all necessary tasks to serve food and beverage according to the service standards and operating manuals of the restaurant.
Ensure timely delivery of all food and beverage items to customers.
Understand menu content and keeping up to date with any menu changes.
Making recommendations from the menu if requested.
Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manner.
Ensuring the food service area is left clean and tidy once all the guests have left.
Relaying, preparing and setting tables for the next guests.
Pleasant interaction with guest and always ready to serve.
Bring wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses, and pour the wines for guest.
Perform cashering and bill handling.
Acts as a Junior Supervisor.
Take incharge/monitor of all stocks and supervise all co-workers.
Responsible for preparing the daily/monthly inventory of all stocks.
Take orders and communicate orders to cooking staff.
Cook and prepare foods.
Provide excellent guest service in an efficient manner.
Maintain appearance and uniform standards.
Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors.
Be knowledgeable of all menu items, specials and item specifications, and adhere to those specifications.
Maximize sales by using menu knowledge and suggestive selling techniques.
Maintain cleanliness of the preparation, service and dining areas.
Complete assigned duties within each shift.
Follow established food preparation and sanitation procedures.
Follow company and departmental environmental practices to minimize wasted energy and resources.
Analyzes/Proofreads source documents (.doc, .xml, .pdf) and carries out instructions according to job specification and standards.
Edit checked jobs after document analysis and data conversion.
Produce proofs against source documents.
Analyze layout and text according to job specifications and standards.
Supervise conversion and loading of new XML content to online platforms.
Convert .doc files into .pdf.
Implement company policies, technical procedures and standards for preserving the integrity and security of data, reports and access.
Manage assigned project to completion and meet goals,
timeline and budget.
Develop and disseminate project reports.
Provide weekly/monthly reports and inventory of all supplies and computer peripherals.
