Responsibilities
Initiates and oversees monthly generation of MRP considering firmed sales orders, forecast and current inventories.
Build a short-term and long-term plan in accordance with Production, Sales and Inventory annual budget.
Analyze capacity of all production processes and identifies constraints, implement solutions, adjustments and maximize current capacity to meet current requirements.
Prepares Capacity vs. Requirement reports for Sales & Operation monthly meeting and participates in decisions taken pertaining to operations.
Participates in demand forecasting and relating to production capacity and materials requirements, and also ensures that new product (retro-planning with NPD & Marketing) and processes are properly developed for production readiness.
Monitors glassware & packaging inventories level based on budget sets by management.
Monitors MRP analytically and creates mechanisms to manage and improve the process.
Ensures effective and efficient implementation of production schedules by leading a team of Production Planners which monitors daily progress.
Coordinates communication through a daily Operations Meeting attends by Customer Service, NPD and Industry to monitor the monthly progress and highlights any occurrence of deviation.
Achievements
Built a comprehensive Manufacturing Requirement Planning (MRP) spreadsheet which drastically reduced generation time and improved data accuracy.
Core Team member who initiated Product Life Cycle, and sets Production Planning KPI’s.
Categorized SKU’s into MTO / MTF which built the Core Collection used for run-strategy.
Run-Strategy implementation improved product availability of core collection. (fixed schedule - variable quantity).
Responsibilities
Obtaining an accurate Sales Demand and forecast through coordination from Marketing & Sales for advance Material Requirement Planning.
Maintain integrity of all planning data used to load MRP in support of production plans.
Conduct inventory analysis reviews to avoid and monitor excess inventory and obsolescence.
Maintains priority integrity of Master Production Plans (MPS), raised any concerns to Management for any deviation.
Supervise and leads Production schedulers to arrive at credible and accurate delivery dates for all scheduled orders / shipments.
Monitors production capacities to ensure plans are achievable. (Machine load analysis)
Prepares statistics showing trends / load in manufacturing.
Prepares all Production Planning sections KPI.
