I participate in Kaizen events as FACILITATOR. This function has responsibilities:
- Help draft the Charter with the Sponsor.
- Help the Sponsor and Team Leader with the task of preparing the event and post-event tasks.
- Ensure that the steps in "Kaizen Road Map" and its methodology are followed.
- Assist the Team Leader in the choice of tools for continuous improvement.
- Managing the dynamics of the whole team.
In Lean Manufacturing the goal is to reduce waste in a process. Waste means any activity in my process without added value for my customer. It is proven that only 5% of the activities in the process are added value and 95% are waste.

I have to reduce forms of waste such as inventory, transportation, over processing, overproduction, waiting, motion, rework, accidents and improve creativity.
In Six-Sigma the goal is to reduce the variability of a process. It means your process is stable and you can produce all your products between parameters. So with that you reduce rework.
I use methodologies and tools such as 5S/6S, SMED, Kanban, VSM, TVM, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka-Yoke, Balanced Scorecard, FMEA, Brainstorming, Pick Chart, DMAIC, Pareto Charts, Histograms, Control Charts.
