Create developmentally-appropriate, multi-sensory experiences for preschool students that enable all children to be actively engaged in their own learning. Design formative assessments used to plan for each child's developmental and instructional needs. Uphold a safe classroom environment and implement positive classroom management strategies. Maintain open communication with parents through daily interactions and weekly newsletters.
Volunteer for the KG1 curriculum development team.
Created and implemented English/ Maths/ and Science curriculum for year 1 (KG2) classrooms. Employed a variety of current, innovative teaching strategies to motivate, inspire, and encourage student-centered learning. Designed units to maximize available technology and resources. Recorded student progress and tracked attendance. Provided phonics training and led department meetings, while encouraging KG teachers and assisting them in using best practices in the classroom.
Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly lesson plans for Korean students ranging from kindergarten to adults; teach engaging and creative lessons; evaluate current and incoming students; developed new reading curriculum; assist in curriculum development, new teacher recruitment and hiring, and teacher training.

Provided translating service when needed, and provided excellent customer interactions with customers who did not speak English. Relevant modules included: Educational Psychology Principles of Language Acquisition Child and Adolescent Development Foundation in Reading Instruction with Field Experience Traditionalism and Globalization Completed two independent projects during final year: Wrote a capstone thesis presenting the cultural experiences and lessons gained during a year of traveling abroad and completed an independent writing project and presentation on an overseas trip taken during my final year. Both projects received good results, and gave experience in cross-cultural learning as well as time management and self-motivation.
Included a semester-long teaching field experience in a second-grade classroom, where I planned and taught creative lessons, as well as observed the main classroom teacher in all aspects of the teaching career. Received high grades and excellent reviews from supervising teacher.
