Directly reporting to the Executive Director of Pharmacy, and responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of office operations which includes planning and organizing work demands of the Pharmacy team currently consisting of 14 staff.
Coordinating data requirements, implementing and overseeing best practices and providing executive support to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives.
Initiated in the creation of a number of systems to organize our department administrative processes including development of a sophisticated leave tracking system, coordination of all locum schedules, and management of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee functions - all of which are now available in highly functional SharePoint sites.
I have been largely responsible for shepherding all the clinical staff through the HMC and SCH credentialing and licensing morass resulting in all eligible clinical pharmacist now being credentialed and licensure eligible.
My working relationships with the administrative staff of fellow departments and our HMC counterparts has been tremendously helpful in getting our day to day work done. I have actively sought out anything that would help me learn new skills (SharePoint, PowerPoint) to improve my ability to contribute to both the department and SMRC as a whole.
Currently part of the procurement process and Lawson, SharePoint Champion point person for the Pharmacy team. Creating departmental dashboards. Also helping the pharmacy staff in creating of Crash Cart Binders.
Recording Agendas, Minutes of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee meeting and coordinating with the management for the Pharmacy organizational and departmental policies to be recorded and uploaded in the portal.
Coordinating within the department of Pharmacy and the other departments to facilitate exchange of information, resolving administrative problems by analyzing information, identifying and communicating solutions.
Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management and team, discovering irregularities, determining continuing needs in accordance with management directives.
Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Bachelor of Commerce. Currently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management through online distance education program.
