Reads and studies Project Painting Specifications and Product Data Sheets of all painting materials to ensure that accurate information are disseminated to all concerned.
Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures. Competent in reading and understanding specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
Disseminates complete information to all Foremen, Coordinators and Blasters/Painters regarding work details and job priorities to be undertaken.
Prepares schedule of Blasting and Painting works.
Leads and controls work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the Surface Preparation and Painting works aspects of the project. Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure quality, efficient, compliance with job standards and timely completion of the works.
Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools. Supervises work crews to best utilize manpower and materials, exercises discipline to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.
Coordinates with the Quality Control Inspector and other discipline to identify areas regarding painting activities.
Coordinates with the Paint Manufacturer’s Technical Representative for technical advice and guidance to ensure all painting works are properly executed.
Checks and reviews Daily Accomplishment Reports, Daily Inspection Request and Product Turn Over Sheet.
Checks and monitors the calibration status of tools/equipment.
Computes paint material/abrasive to be used; prepares material takeoff for blasting/painting requirements.
Motivates people to attain production target; implement company rules and regulations.
Implements good housekeeping practice and personal hygiene to maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Coordinates with the Quality Control Inspector and other discipline to identify areas regarding painting activities.

Prepares daily inspection request and product turnover sheet.
Monitors, updates and reports daily accomplishment to the Project Management Office.
Computes paint materials and abrasive to be used.

Attends daily coordination meeting and discuss project status and problem encountered.
Responsible for worker safety, tools and equipment.
Reviews painting specifications and schedules.
Prepares working area, tools and equipment needed by each project.
Prepares daily work schedules for smooth continuity of work operation.
Instructs all foremen regarding work schedules, work procedures and priorities of items to be undertaken.
Ensures that the quality of each work activity is in accordance with project painting specifications and standards.
Works closely with others to identify needs and provide solutions that support client’s broader goals.
Coordinates with Quality Control Painting Inspector and client representative.
Logs all problems encountered and relay to project management for immediate action.
Attends control related project meetings and ensures that the data presented accurately.
Monitors, updates and reports daily progress to the management office.
Implements safety rules and company rules and regulations
Review plans and specifications for electrical and communication system.
Pre-commissioning of electrical and communication systems.
Assists in testing and commissioning prior to the final acceptance of the project.
