•Collect all information needed to calculate bills receivable (order amounts, discount rates etc.)
•Check the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
•Issue invoices and bills and sent them to customers through various channels (e-mail etc.)
•Issue patient account statements periodically or whenever necessary
•Receive payments through various methods (cash, online payments etc.) and check for credibility
•Send reminders for payments and contact patient or Relative when assigned
•Update accounting records with new payments, balances, customer information etc.
•Answer questions and handle complaints from patient or Relatives regarding bills
•Report on activity to upper management
•Analyze claims and decide whether they are covered by policy
•Make recommendations for the settlement of claims
•Inform clients if claims are accepted and how they will be allocated
•Organize payments to clients and repair or replacement of lost items
•Make sure all enquiries and payments are dealt with quickly
•Appoint insurance loss adjusters and private investigators when required
•Contact independent experts in case of disputes and attend disputes tribunals
