In charge for the design, implementation, configuration, operation and maintenance of audiovisual, lighting control, automation and security systems.
With wide-ranging knowledge and experience in organizational, managerial, contractual, technical and operational skills, in addition to business analysis, business development and strategic study talents, I joined my current employer to develop and reorganize the activities of the Audiovisual and Extra-Low-Voltage Systems Division. I hire, train and manage sales and implementation team members and establish career development for all employees in terms of technology update, equipment release, project tracking and execution and safety awareness skills. I prepare and administer division budgets, objectives and strategic short and long term planning to ensure business continuity. I look after relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, clients and customers and coordinate with them to solve problems, resolve conflicts and mitigate setbacks.

Accountable for all coordination between the client, the main contractor, all subcontractors, the lead consultant and all specialist consultants. My responsibilities started with TSE (Theatrical Systems & Equipment) packages and expanded to take in all trades in the project, including:
- Management of all trades: concrete and steel structures, fall protection, conventional and special MEP systems, special water features, internal cladding acoustic treatment and projection surfaces, audio, video, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), rigging, machinery, stage lighting and special effects, automation and control, performance flooring, interior design, ELV, security and life-safety systems, two-way radio transceiver system and seating in addition to BIM modeling and clash resolution.
- Guiding specialized international consultants in setting specifications and schematic design packages for all theatrical specialty systems, understanding and evaluating design development documents for all packages and ensuring periodic delivery as scheduled.
- Assessing, qualifying, recommending and negotiating with international and UAE-based subcontractors for special and conventional systems and trades.
- Planning and sequencing all project activities from tender issue and invitation-to-tender up to award and execution, tracking progress and tasks against detailed project program, and setting roadmaps to go by tight schedules, meet targets and mitigate delays.
At my previous project, Al Bustan Complex, Abu Dhabi: 2 residential buildings, 1 office building, 1 hotel, 1 hotel apartments building and 5 basements, I managed the project close-out, completed and handed over all ELV and special systems in the complex, including: Audiovisual, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, integrated IP network, IT, telephony, GSM signal reinforcement, car park management system, intercom, fire alarm, public address, emergency lighting, SMATV, IPTV, lighting control, UPS, FM200, TempTrak and CO detection.

I founded, set up, managed and operated the audiovisual division as an independent strategic business unit within the group. I focused on the design, integration and support of medium to large size projects in the AV domain. Within the first year of operation, I placed the division in a well-ranked position compared to the competition in the UAE market by selecting and training highly qualified sales and technical teams based in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. I led the team in marketing and implementing high-end projects with integrated systems using products and equipment from internationally recognized manufactures including Christie Digital, projectiondesign, CYVIZ, Crestron, Extron, TLS Communication, Sonance, Biamp, RBH Sound, AMX, Lutron, Ilight, SCALA, Ateis, Toa, JBL and others.

From July to December 2005, I successfully managed and completed all ELV, broadcast and audiovisual systems for the hall in which The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) held the third extraordinary session of the Islamic Summit in Al Safa Palace in Makkah. A time-critical, highly prestigious project made for the leaders of more than 50 nations.
Then, I took over the responsibility of composing technical and commercial proposals for projects in the audiovisual discipline with focus on ARAMCO projects. Domains included broadcasting, videoconferencing, audio-conferencing, lighting control, information displays, sound reinforcement and integrated control systems for monitoring and control centers with 24/7 operation and for auditoriums, board rooms, conference rooms and classrooms. I remained in charge for direct client relationships, starting from assessment of their unique requirements to final project handing-over and extended maintenance periods.

Leader of a sales team and a technical execution team in a newly established organization specialized in the design and implementation of low-current, security, audiovisual and multimedia systems for high-end projects with CCTV, MATV, Public Address, Access Control, Security Systems and all types of audiovisual systems including front and rear projection systems, advertising displays, surround sound systems and other sound reinforcement systems.

I involved the company in the at-that-time new VoIP technology and we installed Cisco and other gateways at different hubs in the Middle East and Africa and organized traffic among carriers. We dealt with several USA and Middle East based companies such as TELTAC, IBASIS, VCENTRIX and EQUEST.

I also, wrote and set specifications of audiovisual and security systems for several projects. I enhanced my experience with surround sound systems, front and rear projection systems, simultaneous interpretation systems, voting systems, audio and video teleconferencing systems, integrated remote control systems, lighting control systems, CCTV and surveillance systems, fire alarm, public address, networking and fiber optic backbones.
