As the Quality Director for a fish meal and oil producer, my main responsibility was to ensure that our products met the required standards for export, and to obtain the necessary authorizations from the regulatory authorities to allow our operations to begin.

When I joined the company, I discovered that obtaining the required authorizations was proving to be a challenge, and that the process had been ongoing for over three years with little progress made.

To address this issue, I identified the specific requirements we needed to meet, and then developed a comprehensive plan that involved working closely with the regulatory authorities. This plan included a review of our operations to identify areas that required improvement, implementing a quality management system, and conducting regular audits to ensure we met the required standards.

I established strong relationships with the regulatory authorities and maintained regular communication to keep them informed of our progress and seek guidance when required. This allowed us to address any issues or concerns in a timely manner and ensure that our operations were fully compliant with the required standards.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team, we were able to obtain the necessary authorizations to begin operations in just one year. This was a significant achievement, and allowed us to begin exporting our products to new markets, which resulted in increased revenue and growth opportunities.

As the Quality Director, I continued to monitor our processes, conduct regular audits, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner, ensuring that our operations remained in compliance with the regulatory authorities.

Overall, my role as the Quality Director was critical in ensuring that our operations met the required standards for export, and that we obtained the necessary authorizations to allow our business to grow. Through strong leadership and teamwork, we were able to overcome the challenges we faced and achieve success in a relatively short period of time.

quality director à GROUP SAITO EXPORT ET IMPORT

As the Quality Director for a fish company exporting products to European countries, my primary responsibility was to ensure that the products met the quality standards and regulations required for export. This involved developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) that met the requirements of the regulatory authorities.

To ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements, I liaised closely with the relevant authorities to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the regulations and any changes to them. This allowed me to ensure that our QMS was always in compliance with the latest regulatory requirements.

One of my key tasks was to oversee the quality control (QC) and laboratory teams, providing guidance and training to ensure that they had the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. I collaborated with them to establish testing protocols and to analyze test results to identify quality issues and to develop corrective actions. This involved using data analysis tools to monitor our performance and to develop action plans to improve our performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

In addition to managing the day-to-day quality control operations, I was also responsible for managing the documentation required for export. This involved ensuring that all necessary paperwork was completed accurately and in a timely manner. I also liaised with the relevant authorities to ensure that our documentation met their requirements.

To ensure that our QMS was effective and efficient, I developed and implemented a risk-based approach to quality management. This involved identifying the potential risks associated with each product and the likelihood of these risks occurring. This approach helped to ensure that our quality control resources were focused on the products that posed the greatest risk to our business.

Another important aspect of my role was managing the relationship with our European customers. I worked closely with them to understand their quality requirements and to ensure that our products met those requirements. This involved conducting regular audits of our processes and facilities to ensure that they were meeting the required standards.

Overall, my role as the Quality Director was critical in ensuring that our products met the quality standards required for export to European countries. By developing and implementing a comprehensive QMS, managing the documentation required for export, and collaborating closely with the relevant authorities and our European customers, I was able to ensure that our products consistently met the required quality standards and regulations
