My Duties Involve: • Prepare/ compile and issue tender documents
• Request for Quotations including scope of work, price schedule, etc.
• Issue Invitations to Tender
• Co-ordinate and prepare/ issue clarifications to bidders including addendum
• Expedite technical evaluation, manage post-tender clarifications with bidders, etc.
• Analyze the resulting tender submissions, both commercially and contractually, including analysis of quoted prices and rates and prepare recommendations for commitment
• Evaluate exceptions and qualifications to company's standard terms and conditions, negotiate to minimize them and finalize response to bidders
• Participate in negotiations, if any, and prepare minutes of meeting
• Purchase quality products with timely deliveries at the best price
• Process and communicate NCR reports with suppliers
• Develop reliable sources of supply and sound supplier relationships
• Maintain ethical conduct with all supplier relations
• Maintain open communication lines with other departments
• Initiate market observation, conduct and provide market information/analysis on international terms and price trends in order to obtain new suppliers and new technologies in the supply chain
