• Monitor and report on the project activities and ensure compliance with plans and INTERSOS-Donor SOPs and guidelines
• Suggest new methods and approaches to improve the quality of the WASH/Shelter activities implemented by the team
• Support in collecting and analyzing all the data related to the Wash/Shelter Activities in Mount Lebanon and other areas of Lebanon
• Organize and implement the construction works including supervising and carrying out the execution of shelter/WASH support activities such as rehabilitation and construction of (individual and collective) shelters, rehabilitation of public schools, rehabilitation, and upgrading of sanitary and water facilities; as well as Community Support Projects fueled by renewable energy
• Implement and manage municipal-level solid waste management projects, ensuring efficient waste disposal and sustainable environmental practices
• Conduct basic needs and technical assessments for new intervention in collaboration with the local authorities and following the donor guidelines
• Inspect construction activities for each project to ensure adherence to agreed quality standards and processes
• Ensure project documents are properly filed and kept secure
• Provide technical assistance and training sessions for INTERSOS shelter/wash team across all bases
• Produce weekly/daily progress reports on the field activities and contract status
• Support the MEAL department in the reach out and planning for FGDs and PDMs and assist in conducting KIIs
• Respond to new emergencies and interventions as requested by donors, providing solutions and tracking progress
• Collaborate and develop external relationships with municipalities, beneficiaries, contractors, ministries, regional water establishments, and other relevant stakeholders
• Support the Logistics department on the tendering process and suppliers’ selection, and evaluate contractors' and suppliers’ tender specifications
• Implemented construction schedules, methods, equipment, and labor requirements, using MS Project
• Conducted project site visits to meet with construction staff, evaluate progress and discuss operational issues
• Managed various stages of construction projects, including tender, execution, and handing over phase
• Prepared site reports and organized subcontractor invoices, codes documentation, and schematics
• Monitored a team of 30 personnel during construction activities to minimize project delays and maintain a tight schedule
• Ordered and tracked the delivery of construction materials and supplies from vendors
• Prepared and presented project cost estimates, determining project feasibility based on data analysis and recommended improvements
