Working on 2 projects:
1. SIX SIGMA PROJECT: Adoption of DMAIC Method in order to improve the OEE of a packaging line specialized in the tablets and capsules
Define:
• Clarifiyng the choice of the packaging line and the issue on hand
• Specifying the objectives
• Identifying the packaging process
Measure:
• Creating a data frame in order to collect all potential data regarding the packaging line stop causes
Analyse:
• Analysing the situation using different methods such as PARETO diagram, ISHIKAWA diagram and FMECA
Improve:
• Making an action plan including all the solutions proposed during the gate review of the project
Control:
• Controling the action plan using methods such as visual management along with weekly meetings including different departements such as continuous improvement commitee, supply chain department, production department and quality departement
2. Installing a tracking operation system in the dry forms section
• Auditing the different sections in the factory including the pasty and liquid forms section and the dry forms section
• Check if all the operators logged to the system before starting the operation assigned to each one of them
• Sensitize the operators about the importance of the system
• Working with different departements such as MIS department and Continuous improvement commitee in order to report any anomaly and to check if any data needs to be added or deleted from the system
• Endorsing the company brand, policies and core values
• Working on the delivery and evolution of the marketing strategy adopted by the company
• Actively searching and identifying marketing and promotion opportunities and examining competitors activity
• Developing and implementing events from proposal right up to delivery including:
o Setting and communicating project timelines and priorities
o Working on a marketing plan that embrace social media, print, advertising and campaigns, all associated with a method of tracking and reporting
• Managing all facets of production and distribution of marketing materials and measuring success
• Working closely with the designer of all event-related marketing materials and campaigns in order to deliver a coherent marketing message
• Building up and maintaining customer email database while developing new partnerships and strong industry relationships
Working on 2 projects:
1. Manufacturing process of the two main dry forms of drugs: tablets and capsules
At SOTHEMA, the manufacturing flow is processed from the reception of the row materials until the expedition of the final product with respect of the GMPs
• Working on the manufacturing process of tablets and capsules that includes:
o Weighing of raw materials received from suppliers
o Mixturing the raw materials while bearing in mind the main characteristics of pharmaceutical powders
o Performing the wet granulation process when necessary for a more homogeneous mixture, an improved flowability and less tendency towards caking
o Implementing the compression process with respect to the main parameters such as tools and equipments, speed and strength of both compression and ejection
o Tablet coating to preserve both the stomach wall and the active compound in order to provide a sustained release and adjust its dissolution rate
o In the encapsulating process, the particles must address some key criteria in order to avoid agglomeration which will affect the dissolution
o Performing the validation of the manufacturing process in order to identify, measure, evaluate and inform that the tablets and capsules are manufactured according to processes that fully respect the GMP guidelines
o Processing the drug packaging that constitutes the last stage of the manufacturing process and which includes the primary, secondary and tertiary packaging
2. Installation of a new packaging line
• Working on a part of the QP that includes DQ along with the FAT and SAT
o Working in team along with the supply chain and quality departments
• Planning office layout, developing office administration operating budget, and initiating cost reduction programs
• Creating a data base of potential clients and scheduling attorney and client meetings
• Coordinating between the firm’s associates, verifying the following and the reporting of the case progress and acting as an interface between the associates and the extern providers
• Coaching existing staff and developing their technical competencies and communication skills, and training new ones
• Managing the potential changes, conflicts and evolutions, analyzing and minimizing their potential impacts
• Checking over completed documents for accuracy and quality
• Holding staff meeting and ensuring lawyers have all necessary paperwork to take to court
• Launching a new range of products specialized in the wound healing domain in the Moroccan market
• Monitoring and analyzing data and market conditions to identify our products’ competitive advantage
• Segmenting and positioning the product range in the moroccan market and highliting its added value
• Planning work schedules and daily, weekly and monthly timetables
• Making presentations and seminars in different targeted hospitals to explain and convince the potential prescribers of the product range added value utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis
• Building and maintaining positive trust working relationships with health professionals and supporting administrative staff
• Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data provided by the company, and interpreting, presenting and discussing it with health professionals
• Working with sales team to develop and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message and monitoring competitor activity and competitors’ products
• Keeping accurate records and documentation for report and feedback
• Conceiving and handling print production schedules
• Contributing in the groundwork of reports, agenda and communication including budget preparation, recruitment process and training and coordinating operations
• Writing effective creative briefings and print requirements that display client goals, printing specifications forecast and budget constraints
• Securing adherence to company’s guidelines
• Assisting in keeping records of supplies, work performed, and establishing priorities of work orders for the most economical use of equipment and manpower
• Inspecting finished samples for adherence to quality standards before delivery to client
• Reviewing, negotiating and approving final invoices for payment
