JOB DESCRIPTION: • Responsible for the over-all operation of the station within his assigned shift.
• Ensure compliance and at the same time demonstrate or leads by example in performing the standards on appearance, uniform, hygiene, execution of service steps, safety, operation procedures/guidelines, discipline and conduct.
• Coach, leads and motivates the staff to ensure delivery of customer commitment, selling and delivering the offer, site presentation, achieving sales and cost targets.
• Conducts station marketing, promotional activities and suggestive selling. Implements Shell promotions and loyalty programs.
• Ensure above minimum compliance of all Shell standards Audits.
• Knows and stays familiar with the station's goals, objective, standard operating procedures, policies, products, services and promotions. Attends trainings and seminars for continuous learning and self-improvement.rained equipment.
• Prepares and assigns staff work schedule as delegated by superiors.
• Knows and understands the basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing and maintenance functions of the station. Perform basic station maintenance to ensure that station tools, equipment and facilities are in good working condition. Notify management of replacement needs or necessary
repairs requiring third party contractor. Call accredited Shell contractor for Shell owned and maintained equipment.
• Ensure that station staff are trained on the proper use and handling of station tools and equipment. Ensure the availability of station supplies/materials at all times.
• Conducts regular staff meetings.
• Handles interface for customer, suppliers, contractors and Shell representatives according to guidelines and procedures.
• Responsible for the over-all housekeeping of the station.
• Ensure sales transactions are handled according to guideline. Conduct shift change procedures according to guidelines. Gives authorization for refunds, discounts, product returns/exchanges, miss-loading and drive-off.
• Monitors and controls wet and dry stock movement and puts in order to ensures availability at all times. Ensure stocks are all properly merchandised and price changes are completed accurately on a timely basis.
• Constantly monitor staff performance. Responsible for the evaluation and performance appraisal of all staff assigned in his shift and recommends remedial action of G.M or HRD.
• Regulating, enforcement and reporting of any violations station policies, guidelines and procedures.
• accomplish required checklist, reports, forms and logbooks. Submits reports on time.
• adjusting to flexible working hours as needed and performing as a team member. Keeping good working relationship with subordinates, peers and superiors.
• Maintains and follows strict confidentiality of all sales information, company/security policies, operational procedure and other sensitive information.
• Performs other function as delegated by superiors.
