commercial developments in east Tennessee. Full civil engineering design for
subdivisions and commercial developments including concept, schematic design,
utilities, grading and drainage and landscaping. Working with a small team of
engineers and technicians to get regulatory approval with State and local
municipalities. Review of general contractor capabilities and construction supervision.

Infrastructure BIM management and construction supervision for large
multidisciplinary projects in the AECOM civil engineering business unit. Design,
planning and BIM management for infrastructure and transportation projects in
Qatar, UAE and India. Projects included a major arterial highway upgrade, Qatar
Economic Zone and Riyadh Metro. Working closely with other engineers to deliver
integrated 3D models and GIS content. Training teams on Autodesk products, VBA
and database scripts. Data integration and interoperability for mixed used
developments, combining 3D models from multiple sources into a single holistic data
rich model for coordination and drawing production. Mobile terrestrial laser scanning
and UAV photogrammetric modelling and design integration. Road design to AASHTO
standards.

Management of 45 site engineers and technologists on infrastructure and
transportation projects. Construction management and supervision for a large
healthcare project and a flagship university campus. BIM integration using a Common
Data Platform. Earthwork volumetric calculations. 4D presentations for programming
and logistics. Detailed civil design for roads and public realm with Autodesk Civil 3D,
Bentley MX Roads and Trimble software. Geometric highway design to the AASHTO
Design Manual. Spatial data surveys for GIS including UAV drones, GNSS (GPS) and
kinematic point cloud collection/registering/processing. Traditional geodesy for
grader and dozer automated machine control. Survey control using pillars, high
accuracy total stations, auto levels and GPS for every stage of construction projects.
Geodetic cartesian coordinate system transformations.

Site surveyor working for the general contractor of a $65M 4km major road scheme,
Wellington. Managing survey teams using GPS and one-man robotic equipment to
set-out construction works. Primary and secondary control coordination, mapping,
temporary road design, CAD drafting, geometric highway design, earthwork volume
calculations, deformation monitoring, machine control and as-built surveying for local
authorities. 19 months on a logistically challenging large tower in downtown
Wellington. Management of the supply chain for cladding and curtain walling. Vertical
and horizontal control of the superstructure using high accuracy total stations, optical
plumbs and GPS for a complex façade and structure interface, designed for seismic
events.
