JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Records patients medical information and conducts initial screening of patient including vital signs, allergies and complaints.
• Keeps record of all the symptoms and improvement of patients health conditions.
• Assess the needs of individuals, families and or communities, including to identify potential health or safety problems.
• Instruct individuals, families and other groups on health education such as nutrition, importance of exercise, disease prevention and health risk.
• Conducts pre-natal and post partum care.
• Performs routine immunization.
• Administer prescribed medicine.
• Assist Physician in performing minor operation such as circumcision and suturing.
• Provide health care, first aid immunizations and assistance in convalescence and rehabilitation.
• Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.
• Facilitates and participates in the opportunistic and community screening activities.
