• Reviews Transaction Approval Credit Memorandum initiated by Corporate and Retail Banking which facilitates summary details of Client’s Credit Requests (completeness of documentation, security coverage computation, and adherence to Client’s Credit Commitment Report) to identify associated Credit Risks if any and recommend if such requests is conforming and within customer’s approved limit or if further approval is required to cover any exceptions/findings currently associated with the request before allowing drawdown request, issuance of L/Cs and L/Gs, credit refinancing, or amendment in existing exposures.
• Assists in the preparation of SAMA reports related to Credit Risk and Large Exposure
• Reviews the Risk Based Pricing Approach, Client Scorecard and Rating Analysis for each Corporate and Retail Banking Account as part of client’s periodical review.
• Works with a team dedicated to fully automate and enhance the workflow in the department.
• Reviews Contract Status Report and Analysis done by Corporate and Retail Banking to identify profitability from bank-financed government and selected private companies’ construction, maintenance, and supply contracts
• Responsible in regular preparation of selected weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports of the Department.
• Primarily in charge with 1- Payable Management \{inter-company transfers from Parent Company (MELCO, Japan)\} Custom Brokers, and other Direct and Indirect Suppliers\}; 2- Monthly Accruals (Sales and Administrative Expenses); 3- Prepayment Management (Rentals, Insurance, and Subcontracts); 4- Investment Management (Foreign Currency Conversions and Interest Income from Time Deposits); and 5- Bank Guarantee Jobs
• Assists in 1- Payroll & Employee-Related Accounts (exposure on payroll generation and maintains record for Employee Loans, Accrued Vacation Salary and Provision for Terminal Benefits); Salary Increment and Bonus Schedule preparation and evaluation 2 - Audit Schedules preparation (detailed schedules on continuing working papers and regularly-selected accounts by the auditor and provides support to Finance Manager during Audit Period); such as 3 - Cash Management (Monthly Bank reconciliations, regular cash counting - reliever position - temporary placement in the absence/annual leave of Head Office Petty Cashier and regular data-entry for Petty Cash liquidation); 4 - Online Banking (Online Payment of Company Bills and Authorized Account Transfers; 5 - Fixed Assets and Inventory Management (maintains record per category of acquisitions, issuance, transfers and disposal with coordination from Purchase Department and each requesting department); 6 - Monthly Reports (assists the Head Office Accounts Manager in the Finalization of Reports ); 7 - Budget Preparation (provides actual data for the year and assists in the budget allocation for departments) and 8- IT-related tasks \{SQL Database Management, MS Excel Pivotable, IBM Cognos (Budget Database), Crystal Report (Reports-Generating Software, knowledge on hardware configuration and software troubleshooting)\}
