At Ripe I was responsible for heading up and expanding the Events Division. During 2014 I successfully launched and ran six different market based events within the UAE. The largest, ‘flagship', event of the season was the Ripe Market in Zabeel Park which attracted approximately 520, 000 visitors and the participation of 450+ different companies during the season. I absolutely loved using my creative flair when designing The Night Market at Barsha Pond Park which became a popular Saturday evening dinner venue for 6000+ visitors each week. Similarly to previous roles, I enjoyed implementing and devising strategies with the aim of expanding the Events Team making sure that each Ripe Event was run to a high standard. During 2015 I continued to grow Ripe Events outreach introducing the “pop-up” series of markets that were themed to suit the venue and brief of the client as well as handing the sponsorship and partner contracts.
It was also fascinating to be involved with and responsible for, as part of the Ripe team, the growth of these community events within the region giving small businesses a platform to showcase. I also enjoyed recruiting and developing a team around me, encouraging teamwork and offering guidance to new colleagues in order for them to fulfil their responsibilities.

At Streamline Marketing Group I was responsible for establishing the Operations Team and implementing the systems and processes required to make events run smoothly. Reporting to the two Managing Partners, my main objectives were making sure that the nine yearly events were delivered to the highest possible standards and ensuring that a superior experience was given to all participants whether delegates, sponsors, exhibitors or speakers.

My role as an Experience Manager at Terrapinn Middle East involved co-coordinating and managing the logistics and quality of large conferences and exhibitions to ensure that they were well run events which provided customers with a truly great pre-event and onsite experience.
