Designing, capacity planning and implementation backup solution for NetBackup Server Master and Media servers (Linux and windows) Installing and configuring storage disk (pure disk, advance disk, dedup, storage life cycle policy, media import, rman, virtual media server and tape libraries

Responsibility: -
Mission Critical data center operation support, Monitoring and managing IT Infrastructure for the following including upgrade and Migration Independently and coordinating with vendor if required.
Daily Task:
Monitoring closely the following Systems & relates Incidents and troubleshooting as per the SLA .
Virtualization:
VMware 5.5 & 6 & Vxrail Environment with 250 Servers (Windows and Linux)
OS Platform: 250 + Windows 2008 DNS, DHCP, AD, GPO, Mail server File server, Print Server, Cluster services, File screening. And 70 Unix server
Backup & Archive Solution:
VERITAS NetBackup 8.0 environment with replication Solution for Oracle-RMAN, VMware, Exchange 2010, windows, NDMP and Linux Server. (new configuration changes, Migration and Updates)
Disaster recovery test for the backups:
Ensuring the backup jobs are completed successfully and restoring the data to the test environment on monthly basis. (NetBackup, Veritas EV, Exchange Server, AD, NDMP & Oracle RMAN)

EMC VNX series, EMC VNXe -series, EMC Unity series, EMC ViPR SRM-Mgmt, HP Storage and Brocade Switches
Physical server:
7 HP 7000 blade enclosure connected with Virtual connect, integrated with One view for 65 Servers.

1.HP Hardware Installation and Configuration (HP c7000 Enclosure, Gen 9 Blade, EMC Unity Storage for Virtual Infrastructure VMware 6.2.
2.Independently handled and Migrated EMC Vxrail Installation and configuration &server Migration for the Virtual Environment
3.Installed and configured 2x VNXe 3200 Storage and provides NAS and VMware storages.
4.Independently successfully completed the Installation and configuration of Linux Servers 7.x with High availably RAC configuration for Call Center, back office and Eservice and its application servers.
5.Independently Migrated the Installed and Configured 6 Esxi host, V-Center with EMC storage connected and migrated 147 servers from old infrastructure to new one.
6. Independently handled VERITAS NetBackup Environment Migrated from physical to Virtual and updating form 7.x to 8.0 and configured the media servers and Tape library.
7.Handled the the ERP, POS and E-Services DB and application migration project Oracle Supercluster M7 (Oracle Solaris), migrated the application servers form the RHEL to SUN M7.
