Send RFQ to various supplier for tender and prepare comparison sheet
Prepare detailed take-off and estimates using takeoff spreadsheet including material, freight, engineering, and installation costs.
Assess project specifications & requirements
Prepare door and hardware schedule as per project specification, floor plan, life safety and escape deployment plan
Check and compose hardware sets consistent with door function and application to valid building regulations and normal practice for budget cost.
Segregate material requirements from IFC drawings
Prepare material submittal up to approval to consultant / client
Prepare quotations/costing and technical follow up with contractor
Material take-off in coordination with site people
