Lead and manage a team of 10 professionals, including selection and hiring, objective setting, performance management, coaching/development and training. Creates and executes BPO work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manages over 100 accounting and payroll projects while working directly with the BPO Director. Organizes projects implementation which includes executing the process, setting up the system and ensuring effective and smooth transition to BPO. Involves in various international engagements for globally based groups operating in Middle East and Africa.
Designation: Supervisor; Duration: October 2008 to September 2010
Assists BPO Manager in managing the BPO team. Reviews deliverables prepared by accountant/payroll officer before submitting to client to assess that correct methodology and quality standards have been applied. Performs regular meetings with clients to assess client satisfaction and discuss process enhancements. Designation: Senior Client Service Accountant; Duration: October 2007 to September 2008
Handles outsourcing engagements to a total of 20 accounting and payroll clients ranging from local to multinational companies in different industries such as investment markets, logistics, fabrication, cosmetics, telecommunication, asset management and manufacturing. Prepares reports in compliance with US Sec, SOX and PIB regulations (for DIFC entities). Performs non-assurance engagements such as Compilation, Agreed-Upon Procedures and Backlog Accounting.
Designation: Semi Senior Accountant; Duration: May 2006 to September 2007
Prepares Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Notes) for each client on a monthly basis in accordance with accounting standards i.e. IFRS, IAS & US GAAP. Handles payroll process from preparation of payroll schedule to salary payments depending on client’s specific requirements.
