Project Management Design & Execution
Role:
•Managing EPC projects from the stage of basic design, detailed engineering, equipment selection/ procurement, construction management, installation coordination, pre-commissioning/ commissioning and hand over
•Leading Project Team including Supervisors, Foreman, Workers and Subcontractors
•Coordinating with ACMV, Fire & Plumbing systems for the smooth installation of electrical systems
•Liaising with client, architect, consultant and main contractor for any site issues
•Monitoring the progress and ensuring that the project is executed in time & within set budgeted cost
•Representing the company at site meetings and other meetings as required
•Providing feedback to management on site problems and suggesting corrective actions to be taken
•Assuring details in sub-contracts, purchase agreements & purchase orders are accurate and that they meet the project specifications in covering the full scope of work intended and required by the main contract
•Proposing alternative design to substitute tender design that is practical, liable, cost-saving and conforms to relevant building code of practice
•Sourcing for competitive costs in equipment and subcontractor costs to minimize project cost and capital utilization
•Preparing, checking & submitting shop drawings before commencement of installation works and as-built drawings upon completion
•Submitting monthly progress claim to clients, monitoring of variation works, avoiding wide differential in claim and payment amounts
•Ensuring the quality system of site construction, attending progress review meeting with client & consultant, material reconciliation, billing to client and selecting subcontractors
Highlights:
•Pivotal in completion of the prestigious Holland V project within approved budget of INR 32 Crores / US$ 5 Million by continuous monitoring of budget movement and optimized utilization, as Project Lead
•Ensured completion of construction milestones within a short stipulated time frame 12 months
•Successfully managed the erection, testing and commissioning of HT gears, MV Transformers & LT Panels
