Qualified Nursery Nurse - NVQ Level 3 Childcare (CACHE)

Nursery Assistant at Little House Nursery
  • United Kingdom
  • March 2011 to March 2015

This role was part time and included assisting the qualified staff
with daily duties such as safeguarding the children and forming bonds with children from 0 - 5 years
of age. After a year I was put on a full time contract and given a key child in which I tracked and
recorded their development on a regular basis adhering to Ofsted standards and being supported by
a qualified member of staff. A few months later I had 3 key children and was placed on a Level 3
childcare course. After successfully completing the course I became qualified in tracking a child's
development and I was given more responsibility and more involvement with the children and
parents too. My reason for me wanting to leave this company is because there is no opportunity for
me to progress or challenges to face. I now want a greater challenge and seek further advancement.
