qualifying Welding Procedure Specification (WPS); monitoring stage wise
welding jobs including pre-heating, post heating & post weld heat treatment
Undertaking inspection of welding of various parent material (similar &
dissimilar) with same or dissimilar thickness; inspecting & monitoring joint
edge preparation parameters, such as root face, root gap, bevel angle as per
applicable WPS & approved drawings; planning & executing PQR as per client

Controlling weld parameters like pre-heating, inter-pass temperature, heat
input, inter-pass cleaning, post heating, gas purging & backing as per WPS &
PQR requirements; performing visual inspection of fabrication and site welds
Performing inspection of Enamel & Epoxy Paint Coating and ensuring the
coating layer has required Dry Film Thickness (DFT)
