• Provides product solutions to comply with client requirements across Middle East, Africa, and Asia
• Provides product upgrades to comply with client requirements both in commercial and industrial (Zone 2 applications) projects.
• Provides technical support to Middle East, Africa and Asia providing engineering data and calculations to consultant queries regarding our products
• Prepares design and sizing calculations, ventilation calculations, deration calculations and other technical calculations relating to product installation requirements
• Conducts motor starting studies and generator sizing calculations
• Follows client orders and provides technical support to client from project tendering up to project turn-over
• Develops product solutions to comply with existing client specifications and future requirements
• Generate the regular project documentations such as project schedule.
• Further follow-up and monitoring of timely receipt of material.
• Keep track of non-conformances and monitoring corrective actions to control costs and schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provides technical training to client and consultants about the latest technology updates and upgrades relating to our products and services.
o Conducts detailed electrical studies (Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis, Protection Coordination Studies)
o Prepares one-line diagrams, power, lighting and grounding plans, medium and low voltage plans, conduit routing plans, transformer sizing, MV/LV Power Distribution System, load schedules, cable sizing, containment sizing and coordination and voltage drop calculations
o Reviews plans/shop drawings, submittals from the suppliers, based on design drawings, technical specifications and other client’s requirements in coordination with Construction Manager
o Prepares Bill of Materials for assigned projects
o Reviews the method statements from MEP contractor with respect to installation works and logistics for equipment installation
o Effectively interact within a multi-discipline team of architects, engineers and designers to meet project goals
o Assists and provide technical advice to the construction team for the update of MEP system progress and installation on site
o Ensures services provision clearance is provided in time for structure and manages resources in order to meet project requirements and timelines
o Conducts regular site inspection for service installation, identifying poor quality elements and advise construction team and MEP Manager
o Effectively manage time spent on multiple projects simultaneously
o Lead project commissioning that includes Primary equipment (motors, Transformers, CT, PT, SA, DS, PCB) and secondary equipment (metering device, protection device, control device) testing ensuring installed equipment complies with parameters for newly installed equipment.
o Performs punch list inspection prior to equipment/system hand-over
o Performs checking of shop-drawings and as-built drawings prior to project close-out
