Assist to validate and monitor the plant's capability to produce to plan.
❖ Communicate scheduling exceptions back to the planning process.
❖ Implement and use the Record Production Data sub-process to:
• Record (post) the production results in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify and resolve cost variances and inventory discrepancies on a timely basis.
• Implement and use the Maintain System Data sub-process to review and
maintain bills of material and routing data based on yield and efficiency results.
❖ Implement and use the Inventory Reconciliation sub-process to reconcile plant
physical inventory to documented inventory and resolve discrepancies that are
outside of business tolerances.
❖ Performs SAP transactions to reconcile and close production orders after all
production postings are completed.
❖ Works with Cost Accounting to ensure proper allocation of costs and timely
completion of month-end closing activities.
❖ Extracts data from SAP as required for various reports.
❖ Monitors, replenishes, and reconciles consumption of raw materials.
❖ Coordinates raw material requirements to Raw Material Center for period planning,
ordering and delivery.
