STRATA Manufacturing PJSC (STRATA) is a key manufacturer of Composite components to the
Aerospace industry owned 100% by Mubadala Development Company. Established in 2009, Strata
works closely with the major OEMs including Boeing & Airbus and plays a vital role in developing the
Aerospace Industry in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
As Finance Manager, I'm overseeing a multinational team of 9 Finance professional responsible for all
day-to day Finance activities across the organization.

CFO
Nordic Energy Services (Nordic) is a Norwegian oil-service company headquartered out of Abu Dhabi with operations in the Middle East, North Africa & the North Sea.
As the CFO, I worked closely with the Board of Directors which consisted of high Profile Private Equity
investors from Norway
During my time with Nordic, the headcount increased from 7 to more than 125 with revenues reaching
USD 20m in 2009, up from USD 500K in 2006.
Main responsibilities & achievements:
• Setup of Finance functions in UAE & Saudi Arabia
• Implementation of Finance Procedures across the organisation including Internal control
frameworks
• Preparation of o Annual Financial Statements as per IFRS
• Preparation of annual Budgets- & Long term plans
• Fund raising of more than USD 30m
• Secretary of the Board of Directors
• Focal point for Banks- & Auditors (KPMG)
In 2010, it was decided to move the company's head office to Daman, Saudi Arabia and I was responsible for closing all outstanding issues in the UAE.

Project Manager
I joined Ernst & Young (EY) in Oslo, Norway in 2002 as an Associate in the auditing department. Fresh out of Business school, I gained valuable experience in understanding & analysing financials statements in this period. Working as part of an audit team, I participated in the audit of mid- sized Norwegian
companies across different industries.
In 2004, I was reassigned to the EY Advisory, the Consultancy part of the company. At the same time, I was reassigned from Norway to EY San Jose, California where I was introduced to the internal control framework - SOX 404. My main responsibilities consisted of:
• Identification and documentation of business processes
• Risk assessment of existing internal controls
• Implementation of new internal controls
On my return from the US, I joined a European EY task force responsible for implementing SOX 404 for the Royal Dutch Shell Group (Shell). I was one of the 1st EY consultants to join this team, which after 1 year consisted of more than 100 EY employees. After a short assignment for Shell Germany, I became responsible for the Quality Assurance of the SOX 404 work in Shell Denmark & Shell Norway.
