1. Role Purpose*
To provide safe, compassionate care to clients in their homes and emergency support during medical response situations. The role bridges preventative, daily living support with urgent pre-hospital care.

*2. Key Responsibilities*

*Home Care / Health Assistant Side:*
- Assist clients with daily living tasks: personal hygiene, mobility, meals, medication reminders
- Monitor and record vital signs, pain levels, and changes in health status
- Communicate with families, nurses, and doctors about client condition
- Provide emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation

*Ambulance Officer Side:*
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls as part of an ambulance crew
- Assess patients on scene and deliver first aid, CPR, oxygen therapy, and basic life support
- Safely operate emergency vehicles under priority conditions
- Prepare patients for transport and provide accurate handover to hospital staff
- Maintain equipment, ambulance cleanliness, and restock supplies
- Complete accurate patient care reports for every job

- *Technical*: First aid/CPR cert, basic clinical skills, ability to use medical equipment
- *Personal*: Calm under pressure, empathy, strong communication, physical fitness
