• Study and analyzes drawings, specifications, tolerances, standards, procedures and other technical documents related to the project for execution.
• Managed and assigned activities to all Dimensional Controllers or Surveyors on site and solve issues regarding surveying with the client
• Does construction surveying works and applies standard surveying techniques providing high quality precision surveys for dimensional verification during module construction.
• Final as-built surveys of module before load out using Leica C10 scanner< Leica TS06 or TS15 whichever available instrument within the day and process the data using cyclone cloudworx, AutoCAD 2012, and MS Excel formulas.
• Checks availability and condition of surveying equipment especially the total stations used for dimensional surveys on site and do monthly validation using standard calibration procedures.
• Checks field and office drawings, sketches, survey plans and prepares survey reports regularly as required.
• Quality Assurance / Quality Control inspection during the fabrication of girder segments cross beams, brackets, diagonal braces and tower segments of LER and LIR modules. Ensures components meet the design requirements during fabrication or construction using high-accuracy and precision total station surveys, and various QA/QC inspection measurements with sub-millimeter accuracy.
• Established survey control networks on site with high accuracy and precision.
• Analyzes error propagation and applying three dimensional spatial modeling to assure survey accuracy.
• Attend weekly production meeting and quality meeting together with INPEX and JKC and addresses all Dimensional Control survey issues on site.
• Handled out of tolerance data from checking of column verticality, alignment of panels, elevation of columns, and settlement monitoring of modules. Made dimensional survey reports with attached comments and submit it to the construction team for them to attach a rectification method or if there is a site query needed.
• Made Non Conformity Report (NCR) addressed to the construction if the quality standards was not met.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time such as making of notification for inspection (NFI) and transmittal documents to be submitted to the client for approval with corresponding attachments.
• Process data from Leica total station using AutoCAD 2014 and generate dimensional survey reports to be submitted to the client in Australian standard formats.
• Process as-built survey data of the whole module and check the interface between the required and actual survey data points downloaded from Leica total station converted into DXF format. Reflect the deviation in Australian standard formats with complete details.
