Evaluate and process all general insurance proposals including Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, employee benefits to get competitive quotations from Insurers
Negotiating with Insurer pertaining to risk cover at behest of client needs and business activities
Determine that all Underwriting operations and file documentation complies with authority level standards and passes all audits
Review quotations to determine extensions, exclusions along with subjectivities and insurability based on corporate governance and risk ascertain.
Responsible for deciding insurer for policy placement based on their underwriting appetite and claims support
Prepare underwriting reports and forecast management with future business and latest market trends
Manage all general claims to be handled and settled within the TAT
Successfully managed existing portfolio without any lapse in renewals through proper understanding of clients need and foremost after sales service
Championed portfolio management approach to ensure consistent discipline and methodology in achieving innovation goals.
