Underwriting, analyzing, generating, new, endorsement and renewal business.
Validate the business within underwriting authority through a rigorous risk
assessment process which includes consideration of loss control, claims history and
all other appropriate risk management factors

Develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external
customers, associates, actuary, marketing, IT and claims in order to attract and
retain profitable business
Analyze risk patterns based on business scope and suggest valuable loss mitigation
process to avoid any future loss
Hold up with Re Insurer to get appropriate proportion of support on Facultative basis
on certain risks.
Verify the final placement, Fac Re slip to validate the cover and extension within the
policies provide to the Insured
Evaluate and process all general insurance proposals including Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, employee benefits to get competitive quotations from Insurers
Negotiating with Insurer pertaining to risk cover at behest of client needs and business activities
Determine that all Underwriting operations and file documentation complies with authority level standards and passes all audits
Review quotations to determine extensions, exclusions along with subjectivities and insurability based on corporate governance and risk ascertain.
Responsible for deciding insurer for policy placement based on their underwriting appetite and claims support
Prepare underwriting reports and forecast management with future business and latest market trends
Manage all general claims to be handled and settled within the TAT
Successfully managed existing portfolio without any lapse in renewals through proper understanding of clients need and foremost after sales service
Championed portfolio management approach to ensure consistent discipline and methodology in achieving innovation goals.
Analyzing latest marketing trends and Tracking competitor’s activities to Provide Valuable inputs for fine tuning Sales & Marketing Strategies and initiating Market Development efforts.
Managing customer centric operations and ensuring customer satisfaction by achieving delivery timeliness and service quality norms.
Monitoring all renewals, claims, endorsements, addition and marine declarations to be initiated and processed within TAT
Reconcile with finance department to generate proper report on credit control
Resolving client’s issues and queries related to risk cover and benefits
