At MSE, I participated in major transformation projects related to governance, operating models, and organization restructuring for banking, retail, agriculture and telecommunication sectors across the Middle East region. My responsibilities included analyzing the current state of the client, defining strategic themes, and identifying the risks associated with implementing different strategies. Working hand in hand with a team of consultants, we developed over 300 job descriptions and job families geared towards positions in the banking, retail and telecommunications sectors along with preparing, attending, and conducting extensive workshops for over 1000 attendees for data collection purposes for the development of job evaluation matrix, salary scales, grading structures, competencies dictionaries, career path programs, training indexes, and other related tasks. Responsibilities also included rightsizing and manpower planning activities for numerous employees for a major banking institution and retail company in Lebanon. I also assisted in the development and refinement of HR strategies, operating models, policies and procedures for public sector entities in Qatar and Lebanon.
Managed and analyzed all aspects of order entry for completeness and accuracy for domestic and international purchase orders.
Reviewed and organized customer purchase orders, confirmed price agreements, delivery schedules, and ship to designated destinations.
Worked closely with sales accounts managers and customers to address purchase order issues.
Liaised with sales, merchandising, and production teams regarding style cancellations and delays.
Conducted order entry activities for large numbers of stock in coordination with the Order Management Senior Analyst.
Ensured accuracy of entered data on the system by following up on orders and delivery.
Contacted vendors/suppliers to obtain the needed price approvals and to ensure correct pricing for garments.
My main responsibilities as a Manager-in-Training were setting and recommending mark-up and mark-down rates and for completing stock orders and participating in periodical inventory counts.
It was vital to build and maintain close relationships with vendors regarding back order availability, future inventory needs and special orders to maintain availability of stock/merchandise at all times and ensure constant monitoring of inventory levels for merchandise replenishment purposes.
Holding this position, I was required to learn all aspects of the selling process from greeting customers into the flagship store, to following-up on the purchase experience and suggesting new merchandise ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Working closely with the general manager on a daily basis, I strived towards growing my selling and management skills.
