• Administering tendering & marketing of medium voltage distribution transformers ranging from 50kVA to 5000kVA, up to 36kV voltage class, medium voltage unit and package substations
• Conducting:
o Analysis and review of tender specification of both commercial and technical related to distribution transformers and developing tender summary
o Tender feasibility study / risk analysis (both commercially & technically) for participation
• Coordinating with others in the Engineering Design Team for fulfilling the technical requirements which includes technical / GA drawings, deviation and technical data schedules etc.
• Preparation of:
o Transformer costing in accordance to bill of materials and RM cost in coordination with procurement department
o commercial & technical offers according to tender specifications
• Monitoring preparation/arrangements in other required documents like Bid Bond, financial statements & quality related documents, type & special test certificates for the submission of tenders
• Managing a gamut of tasks including:
o Tender result analysis
o Post & pre bid clarifications
• Initiating other departments for the purchasing of raw materials, planning and manufacturing
• Performing follow-up and other necessary actions to be taken for the timely delivery of transformers
• Preparing and submitting company / product prequalification documents for getting approval from different electric utilities.
• Organizing and participating in product exhibitions in MEE (Middle East Electricity) & Saudi Power
Accomplishments:
• Organised prototype inspection, type & special test witness by Engineers from different electric utilities like IDECO, EDCO, SEC and Kharamaa
• Took several cost saving initiatives like optimizing designs, costing /calculation accuracy with new methods
• Secured new contracts for supply of distribution transformers to utilities like IDECO, EDCO through quality products, deliveries as per their requirements, ahead of deadlines

• Managed tender stage preliminary design preparation of power transformers of single, three phase, auto, two winding, and three winding transformers up to 315MVA, 420kV class according to the specifications of the customer & different Standards like IEC, IS, BS & ANSI
• Prepared:
o Technical drawings including OGA (Outer General Assembly) and other drawings as per tender specification for power transformers of ranging from 10MVA to 315 MVA, up to 400kV class (AutoCAD 2D drafting)
o Technical submittals of power transformers for tender requirements such as data schedules & deviations
o Material list for cost calculations of single and three phase, auto, two winding, and three winding transformers
o Daily production work log and shift arrangements
• Performed cost calculations and comparison of guaranteed technical particulars for power transformers of various ratings
• Conducted:
o Analysis and comparison of tender specification (technical) of power transformer
o Inspection of all accessories before assembly of transformer
• Directed internal and outer assembly of power transformers up to 315MVA, 400 kV class
• Read, manufactured, assembly drawings and provided instructions to the supervisors for internal and outer assembly of power transformers
