In the border security solutions department of Airbus DS in France and Germany, as the Technical Publications manager I am responsible for:
- Definition of the technical publications scope according to contractual requirements and milestone requirements
- Production and delivery management,
- Guidance and training of an international team of technical writers, located in several countries
- introduction of S1000D & DITA tools and methods
In charge of the end user documentation for the
software components of a maritime and land surveillance system (surveillance GUI,
exercise creation GUI), including the creation of the style guide for the end user
documentation.
Document types: User Manual (reference), User Handbooks (procedures), training
materials.
In charge of a team of 4 persons, ensuring the quality of the documentation with
regards to form, structure and writing style.
Translation of the documentation of a plugin for the CAD application ProEngineer
(database with standardized models of parts) from French to English.
SoftAtHome (manufacturer of middleware for
STBs and Home Gateways for Orange and Etisalat), in charge of the documentation for the Set Top Box SDK.
IPricot SA a manufacturer of satellite IP routers (DVB). Tasks: - writing and conceiving
User’s Guides and Quick Installation Guides for the company’s products.

Layout corrections of the company’s 2002 catalogue using
QuarkXPress 4.
Webdesign, customer relationships, project management
Development of the website of the company,
corporate design.
