Relocated to Almaty City, Kazakhstan to become the direct link between the organization and the organization’s number one strategic customer to provide ongoing support, develop logistics solutions, and serving as the primary point of contact.

• Responsible for coordination and oversight of all account operations/interests, account development strategy, identifying new joint business opportunities, and maintaining key relationships.
• Lead an internal team that was located in different locations across Central Asia to successfully coordinate the transport and custom clearance of cargo under the SPV-A contract.
• Responsible for sourcing multiple vendors that were responsible for a specific task (customs clearance, trucking, containers, air freight, rail freight) in their respective country and managed them to complete deliveries to Afghanistan.
• Oversaw pricing, proposals, and strategies falling under the established supply chain integration agreement.
• Negotiated and closed key business deals relating to the SPV-A contract.
• Developed process flow charts, vendor evaluations systems, cost control and analysis of supply chain tools, KPI development, budget development, and P&L responsibility.
• Frequently traveled to Central Asia to implement new SOP’s, witness operational challenges, and provide innovative and forward thinking solutions to minimize any foreseeable challenges in the supply chain.

Assistant Station Manager - Kabul في Move One Inc

Promoted to assistant station manager by the organization to control and serve the wide range of camps and offices throughout Afghanistan as well as to improve productivity and efficiency in the Kabul office.

• Managed and headed a team of 35 staff to coordinate and keep oversight of all operations in Afghanistan while identifying new business ventures and completing key projects for prime vendors.
• Internally managed the Kabul office and externally managing vendors.
• Managed administrative & commercial responsibilities of key project’s which includes - Strategic Planning, Demand forecasting, collaboration, team efficiency and effectiveness, inventory Control, training and development, budgeting, costing, and warehousing
• Spearheaded key military retrograde operations, which successfully completed several key projects that helped the organization grow and reach its targets for 2012.
• Worked alongside high-ranking military officials to assist with overcoming operational issues associated with diplomatic and political problems in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
• Implemented Move One Logistics field office SOP’s, in addition to petty cash operations, office maintenance and operations reporting.
• Handled the recruitment, training and performance appraisal of employees
• Represented UPS small package operations in Afghanistan by opening new stores and supporting the local UPS staff.

Operations / Admin Manager في Move One Inc

Relocated to Kabul, Afghanistan to become the operations manager for Move One logistics.

• Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all logistical operations (Sea/Land/Air) for Move One in Afghanistan.
• Managed and headed a team of 35 local staff and expats to make sure all operations run efficiently and smoothly.
• Worked with custom officials in the region to be able to clear all shipment documents for sea, land, and air shipments in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Asia.
• Worked with the military (SDDC/ISAF), prime contractors, and various International Embassies and NGO’s on key import/export projects and developing solutions and strategies to move cargo in and out of Afghanistan while dealing with many internal/external political and economical factors.
• Developed forms and tools to increase company efficiency and risk management.
• Remotely managed and controlled our warehouses and storage yards which housed over 350 containers and military equipment such as large vehicles. Came up with the solution of tracking all pieces from Afghanistan to Pakistan by GPS units.
• Responsible for oversight of outgoing/incoming invoices and quotes, and control over valid accounting details and information of agents and vendors.
• Set controls and procedures so all details and documents related to each job were accurately recorded and uploaded into our internal database.
• Managed FFV and frozen food items operations (Air/Land) for delivery to military bases from global locations which led to the successful delivery of over 1500 pallets of perishables a month to each military base in the northern region of Afghanistan.
• Oversaw and ensured high safety standards were met at all times.

• Responsible for meeting with customers to evaluate their needs so I could sell and install car electronics into their vehicles.
• Good communication skills were essential as there was constant interaction with customers and co-workers to produce what the customer wanted in their car and to create an estimate for the installs.
• Creativity skills were necessary in order to create packages of products for customers to install into their vehicles and to design ways to custom fit the products to meet the client’s demands.
• Organizational skills were needed to make sure we met company targets and also all inventory and parts were ordered through vendors in a timely and needed manner to fit the forecasted car electronic sales.
• Other responsibilities were to sell car electronics and other electronics (i.e. televisions, computers) to customers. This was done through key sales techniques, product knowledge, and solution selling.
• Responsible for procurement of station supplies and products.
