I’m a Portuguese Master Civil Engineer with 32 years of experience and I’m based in Dubai. I’m available and looking for a job in UAE.
I was Managing Director representing the Main Contractor on the PPP Hospitals in Portugal where we were awarded with two out of the four PPP Main Hospitals Contracts. I believe that my experience in this area is an added value for UAE Companies that intend to take part on the new upcoming PPP Projects/contracts in the Middle East.
These last two years I have been the Operations Director of a DFEPCT( Design, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Transfer ) seven Photovoltaic Solar Power Plants in Angola, in a total power of 370 MW.
I was also involved in Road Concessions Contracts in Portugal.
I have experience in different roles, companies and countries from Project Manager in early years up to CEO and Country Managing Director of several companies in MENA, Africa, Europe and Fareast. I had the opportunity to be on the Client’s side, Designer’s side, Engineer’s side and the Contractor’s side. I must say that I have a strong background in Main Contractors for Buildings and Infrastructures.
My experience has developed in areas like Construction ( Building and Infrastructures ), Energy, Healthcare, transportation. I’d say that I have a quite good management knowledge of the lifecycle of these industries.

Not only the Legal Process of establishing the Companies but also all the Pre-Qualification
procedures with the main Clients and Public Entities. Nevertheless, there were a lot of opportunities in
Infrastructure Projects; PREBUILD was more focus in the construction of all kind of buildings. During the
last year he has signed the below mentioned construction contracts:
• Kuwait - Hawally Court Complex ( General Subcontract ) 250.000.000, 00 €.
• Qatar - Compound of 16 Luxury Villas ( Main Contractor ) 50.000.000, 00 €

join the Board of Directors of GAELTEC where TEGAEL Group holds 70% share and
decided to increase the international activity of the Group trough this Irish company to take
advantage of financial support given by the Irish Government to Irish companies, willing to
develop internationally. Established GAELTEC Qatar making use of the already existing
structure of HAGEN Qatar and saving on installation costs.
