Reportable to Business Development Managers and handling the team of 3 personnel:
● Provide assistance in scouting quotation for all lines of business from insurance companies
● Manage overall portfolio of the company including new and existing clients for all classes of insurance
● Technical assessment of the client’s requirements regarding insurances and design an appropriate solution based
on insurance needs
● Analyze underwriting information received from the client in coordination with the Technical Support Officer and
advise any changes accordingly to prepare Broking Slips
● Regular follow up on the quotation and ensure standard turnaround times are met in getting the quotations
● Follow up / feedback emails to the clients every 48 to 72 hours, updating on the status of quotations
● Setting up meetings with the existing and new clients for renewal/new business prospects & proposal
presentations
● Gathering all the relevant information from the clients for new business to scout terms from the market
● Preparing Comparison Proposal after reviewing all the quotations.
● Preparing Network and Premium comparison for different quotes received
● Prepare policy summary for each and every group medical policy.
● Preparing and updating of working-files for all the active clients (new & renewal) currently in hand
● Weekly meeting with CEO to give update on the Technical Department activity
● Keep track of all the renewal and send list to Technical Manager and Technical Support Officer 45 days prior to
expiry date for all the renewals and liaise with Operations for required info (claims experience etc.)
● Generate SME quotation from online portals of various insurance companies for Medical, Marine & Office
insurances
● Prepare Broking Slip for requesting quotes from the insurance market
● Prepare placing slip once business is confirmed and arrange proper filling
● Handle daily operations carried out which includes preparation of policy documents, claims handling,
communication with insures and clients, provide relevant support to them and ensure smooth functioning of
daily operations of Technical Dept.
● Setup meetings for the CEO and manage his and Technical Manager calendars on regular basis
● Chase for policy documents once business is finalized
● Managing claims files and the correspondence in proper manner
● Update pipeline for business development meetings
● Conduct Business Development meeting every week and prepare minutes of the meeting which should be
emailed to all the relevant parties by next working day
● Doc binding and Em-docs should be done on regular basis for each and every file
● Giving monthly sales report to accounts department every month for ManCom
● Prepare an update report for Technical Manager on renewals and new business prospects before ManCom every
month
● Complete responsibility of the filing room
● Preparing Sales Report at the beginning of every month and sending it to the accounts team for Manncom

customers.
● Preparation of contract agreements, negotiation of rates with the suppliers and customers.
